It will be putting pressure back on the foam. I actually knocked on the outside aluminum skin and it thuds now rather than clank/pings so it made a huge difference. Thank you for the tips man.

Yeah I decided it would be easier to work with the foam board. I knew the pink stufff would insulate better but I didn't wanna mess with it haha. Your shop door looks good man!

Yup yup yup. Don't smush the insulation! The sun hits the front of the shop almost all day but damn does it get cold in our shop in the winter. I was doing it more to help keep the heat in and the heater kicking on less.

Same here. Sometimes I'll use a propane patio heater in the garage (with proper ventilation of course). Sucks welding cold steel with cold hands.

We have an oil fed furnace. And heating oil ain't cheap! Plus our shop is literally an reclaimed milk factory that was built to stay cold and boy does it. Summer time is great, now it's getting cold and man does it get COLD in there.

All the cameras I have broke, sorry.

Seriously though, I used to work for my uncle at his aerospace shop in a concrete warehouse and freeze my butt of during the winter!!

There were a few NSFW pics of ladies welding too. I may or may not have saved those as well.

First time I ever welded a larger project I had a shirt on and short gloves and I was welding for like 3 hours. Next day couldn't figure out why my arms were red from my elbows to my wrists and felt super sunburned lol!!

Just like that old "close my eyes and look away as I tack weld, never mind I'll just keep welding this way" incident. Haha!

But there are so many websites. Just so many. How gross. Which ones so I know to not go to them? You know? Better safe than sorry.

I have a constant tan line on my left arm only. I'm dumb and wear a sleeve and glove but the sleeve is about two inches short of my shirt so I have a sweet racing stripe. Also my neck and face are always red. I never wear a helmet when fitting. Look away and zap.

Yeah. We all do it. I have basketball shorts and sandals with burn marks from slag. Most of my tank tops have the Swiss cheese holes on my belly from grinding.
