Nice score, had one almost like that back in the day. Don't forget to change the timing belt

Thanks was pretty stoked when I found it. I'm always looking for cheep Tacos, this kinda feel in my lap. I'm going to do the timing belt and water pump when I replace the core support. I figure it should be fairly easy with the radiator out of the way.

That is super clean. The photo of the trailer in front of you took me a second to figure out what was going on lol.

Haha yeah I can see how it could be kind confusing.
We had to tow it do to the immobilizer that the 99 and 2000 limited T4r's have.

I am a little bit of a newbie to 4Runners but I have driven Taco's for 15 years now. On the 4 wheel drive selector, what the heck is H4L? Is that High 4 wheel Locker? and L4L is Low 4 wheel Locker?

Same, I'm no expert on them at all. 1st gen Tacomas I'm fairly fluent in. My understanding is it is the 2wd to Awd to 4wd option with the center diff lock and then 4low.

Yep H4 is 4 high with open center diff, H4L is 4 high with locked center diff, and L4L is 4 low with locked center diff

Or maybe an oversized lightbar. But I do have a set of Sway A Way racerunner 2.0s i'm going to slap on it.
Yours a limited and came with a rear locker? I'm surprised mine does not, must have to do with the multimode T-Case.

Yep I've got a rear locker.

Has nothing to do with the transfer case you have; simply an option.

I've got a Harrop waiting to go in the front but been too lazy to get it installed yet.

Naw, front locker install is meticulous work.

Sending it to Zuk since I've got an extra diff.

I'm going to use the SAWs up front to start just because I already have them. You can see them taken apart in that picture. Not sure about the back yet. I think i'm going to get new rims and tires for the 97 Tacoma and use my FJ rims off it on the 4Runner.
