I have always been on the fence regarding the FJ's personally. Not a fan of the interior, and it's difficult for my 6'5 ass to see out the front windshield. However, yours looks bad ass and makes me rethink it. Too bad I bought a brand new 2010 Taco a year and a half ago and plan on driving that thing until the wheels fall off.

Love the rims too, despite what others have said. What kind are they?

Whew, at least you didn't buy an Eclipse.
I like the looks of the FJ, if I didn't "need" a truck I would probably consider one. I couldn't imagine hauling all my hunting gear plus a couple of dead deer in an FJ though, lol.
Congrats on your new ride, you be lookin good!!!!

Nice FJ... I like them a lot.

They do kind of seem to have a rep as being a "chick car" though don't they?... which I totally disagree with and don't quite understand. ??? I mean, the FJ is one of the most capable off-road vehicles you can buy... very purpose built.

It must be the looks (some say they are too "cute")... but even that is just a retro'd take on the old FJ40s... so hardly trying to be "cute"... just tying to look like a traditional FJ model. I will say though that some of the day-glow colors probably caused the "chick car" label. That bright blue is a cool color... but it does look a bit out of place on an otherwise purposeful vehicle. Same with yellow (yellow is always a tough sell in my book... seems like a feminine color to me... apologies to any guys who have and dig yellow).

Black, silver, tan, & green (army green no less) are colors that work very well with the FJ's lines and make it come off much more masculine. I would love an army green one... very cool!!!!

That's how it is where I live, Seattle. It use to be all the chicks drove cars, now they seem to all be in FJ's.

I love the look of the FJ's but the interior throws me a bit. Also, soon after they first came out I was bs'ing with a guy at a gas station who had one. He hated it due to interior space, MPG, ride etc. and I think scarred me for life on them.

Grats on the new ride! Always so exciting for the first couple weeks ..

FJ's seem to be viewed as odd enough for middle aged women to buy and consider themselves young and fun. Kind of like the Honda Element was intended for young, active people but middle aged women bought it instead.

If they knew anything about the FJ they would realize the FJ isn't cute. It's a capable off road machine
