Hey man, im in Central NJ driving a 2020 TRD OR 6MT, gonna be getting new tires soon and want to tune after. Whats your experience with this tune vs OVTune which is what seems to be the go-to tune from what ive seen.
I know very little about the different tunes for tacomas

Any plans for Long Island/NYC any time soon? I have a place you could set up with food and drinks if you need to and others are interested in doing a tune day.

 

Cool, perhaps if I could get 4 or more owners to do it. Long Island closer to the city would be better, maybe mid Feb. It'll be an all day event and nearly 6 hours of driving on my end. Are you in the city or LI?

 

I am on Long Island, Western Suffolk County. About 40 minutes outside NYC.

I have a closed yard with parking in a little mechanical complex.

 

Ok I'll see what I can do, if we cant get other owners I could always make it to N NJ and do your tune if that works

Anyone in western NY doing ovtune?

 

There's tuners out there, but W NY is about 6 hours from me (12 hours round trip). You could post in the NY regional sub thread which would find someone closer I'm sure.

Another happy tuned truck today. Let me know is anyone needs a Valley Runner tune. Greatly helps reduced gear hunting, holding gears and vastly improved throttle response.

 

Following and will be looking into getting a tune soon. Switching jobs and will be more stationary/my daily is starting to die so I have to make the Taco a bit better/responsive.

 

Cool sounds good, I can drive up to about Perth Amboy if that works

 

I'll be on Long Island NY (south shore) on Sunday May 15th from 11am-? for tuning if anyone is interested. There's a few other owners there, so it'll be an event. There's even beer and hotdogs!

The tune is just $200, if we get to 5+ people then just $150
