I agree, I didn't mean no harm to the seller. If I had told him to please take down the ad before hand then I would understand but OP definitely was still trying to actively sell the tires during our conversation. I just really don't get this whole "no honor" crap, it's buying tires and rims online, not dodging the draft.

Im not a salesperson by trade or a "disgruntled ex girlfriend" as I was called. A simple text saying he no longer want the wheels would have been a courteous thing to do as I've explained before. @tacomamike, I wasnt planning on dropping @Btap 's name but I got caught up on a new member's request to do so. Like i understand how selling online can be fickle, one should understand that people occasionally get called out, especially if you back out or not respond. I dont like the way the last potential transaction turned out but I do like the free bumps. On that note lets move on.

Look man. You're free to comment however way you want to online and so am I. I dont feel I need to delete my post. It doesnt benefit me in any way, but at least potential sellers (& maybe moderators) may find it helpful to know which members dont follow through or respond. The buyer had my phone number and address @Tacomamike mike and like i said, a simple text saying he didnt want the item anymore would have been great...instead of waiting to be called out and responding here. Mike you can get my phone number and address from Bryant and we can drink a Mcallan 18yr and discuss if you want.

 

No one is defending me. OP did what he did and I responded with my opinion on the seller/buyer relationship. I'm not mad or anything, I just don't feel I owe anyone anything. I don't walk into Walmart with the intention to buy socks and then not buy. Am I then obligated to tell the staff "no sorry not interested" Is that honorable and respectful in the land of online shopping?

Hope all this traffic is bringing people to see these rims so OP can get them sold!

 

Agreed. Again, im not a department store chain. Just courtesy...but I cant expect that from everyone. If anything, thanks for bringing in all the bumps.
