I'd love to jump on that tent, but I'm a lot closer to the bottom end of 4 digits. I have the same rack and absolutely love it. Did you put this in the NoVA thread?

 

Ha, that's fair... I can be a little flexible so send me a PM if you think we might find middle ground. Believe me it's a KILLER tent, we're just going the way of the camper to add space for a growing family.

I sent the link to a Nova guy who is looking, but he's taking a pause as he just sunk money into a garage build with a lift.

I'd have to sell my tent to get close to what I could afford. My max would be $1200 area with the tent sale. We just spent a wad on a trip to the Grand Canyon.

If you're curious, the Tamarack (or any tent really) can be bolted directly to the Endeavor bed rack if you like. That's what I did and it was very secure. You can choose to use the "u-bolt" style mounts it comes with, or bolt directly through the slots in the rack for a cleaner look and less obtrusive mounting solution. Is real nice.

 

Man…. I wish you’d sell that rack so id stop looking at it. I have a standard kbvoodoo one already!

If your bed is free of obstruction, can you see anything at all from the the rear view mirror?

 

Actually yeah you can. It's not the full window, but you've got a view of the road behind you with this set up. maybe 2/3 of the window is left available (give or take)

 

Now I had a real good view of my spare since I had it mounted under the bed rack on a custom tire rack I made... Worked like a charm.
I'd be willing to sell that too if interested since I can't use it any more.
