Available for pick up: October 05th 2019.

For sale is a Custom Built Wedge Camper, that is replicated after some of the wedge campers currently for sale on the market. Located in Folsom, CA. Built May 2019. Upgrading to a van, so we are parting with the camper in October and truck in the spring.

The camper will fit any 2nd Gen Tacoma (maybe other generations, we would need to take some measurements) that has a 6' bed. For specific build information please visit the build thread here : https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/so-you-want-to-build-a-wedge-camper.621150/

The current fabric tenting will be redone prior to the sale as well as all the bedding upholstery.
Interior frame will be repainted and all blemishes fixed.
    Touch up on exterior paneling

The asking price is $5000.00. This post is a bit preemptive, but I am trying to get a gauge on interest and pricing. Thank you for looking, and feel free to comment. This was a cool build... what happened? Did it not meet your expectations? I am considering going to this style of camper and I've recently noticed quite a few people offloading theirs.

No, not at all. We’ve used it all summer and it’s worked great. The reason we want a Van is the ability to “camp” or “stop” overnight. We have friends with different variations of vans (sprinters, fords, promasters) and the ability to parallel park your rig on street parking without being bugged is pretty nice. Also, I hate paying ridiculous fees for campsites when we go to / pass through cities like Santa Cruz. Where we go ride often.

The other issue is space. The rig is great for two people and camping gear. No so much for two bikes, a Doberman and camping gear. Long term, the van is a better option.

Makes perfect sense, the stealth camping is one of the huge benefits I’ve seen with the van life.

If it was just me in the rig. I’d keep it. But, I have a wife. And we like comfort. Ahahaha
