One owner, low miles, well maintained 2005 Tacoma with a few tasteful mods to improve reliability over rough terrain. :luvya: I want to build my FJ80 and would like to use the funds from this sale to do so. About a year ago I had a cash offer of $25K on the rig, and I foolishly turned it down. Someone with more time than me can make some money on this. You could part it out and make more than the asking price. The rear axle alone was north of $5K.

Fresh 37" BFG Baja's on double beadlocks, dual spares, new 9.5" Diamond axle in the rear (disk brakes!) with Tom Wood's driveshaft, 300M axles in the front, ChaosFab Long Travel with Icon coilovers and King triple bypass secondaries in the front with 18" stroke 3" diameter triple bypass Radflo's out back. Detroit locker in the rear diff, ARB air locker ran off of nitrogen (won't freeze) in the front. Has a new Optima Yellow top as of last month.

V-6 with 6 speed manual. URD stage 3+ clutch and pressure plate, URD throwout bearing, URD MAF tuner. Engine tuned for max mileage below 3000rpms, max power above 3K. Average 15.7mpg mixed highway/city. Not bad for 37's. Everything works, heat/AC, cruise control, etc. It does need some minor maintenance. Pass mirror is cracked, rear window needs replaced (patched it with sheetmetal years ago, no leaks), dash and interior needs some Martha Stewart work, or just go beat on it as is. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this thing to deadhorse or Tijuanna tomorrow. Might get some better highway tires for a trip like that though! Tons of pics and info in the link in my sig. Will fit on a standard U-haul car trailer, or I can pick you up at the Pasco Airport. Also willing to deliver a reasonable distance, and might take certain long guns on partial trade (I'm looking for a nice 338 Lapua, maybe a .50, high end AR's, etc).

I mostly drive it to work these days, and that's just sad panda.

The following pictures were taken 5 minutes ago. Oh yeah, it's got a manual shift transfer case too. Also comes with a race radio (HAM as well, also picks up weather) and a decent sound system. 12" sub, couple of amps, etc.

You can dude, I'm just down the road by Wyoming standards. The price is low enough any bank or credit union would finance it. That would be payments of around $250 a month. You spend more than that on beer (or whatever your vice is). Clean carfax! Really, never had an insurance claim on it once.

I probably priced it too low, but I haven't even washed it and don't have time to do much else to get it ready. I would be proud to sell it to someone here that can write a new chapter in the build thread. It's only advertised here, TW exclusive! :D

Hey man, with the money he saves he could drop it off with an upholstery shop and be big pimpin'. The price reflects the fact that the project needs finished. I think if it was finished interior wise and cleaned up you could get 25-30K out of it pretty easy, at least in the SW/ desert market.

This dude is asking $31K, and it's not even 4wd, no cage, stock rear end, etc. http://www.race-dezert.com/classifieds/index.php?ct=orcar&md=details&id=113902

Sad to see you are selling this thing but I guess I understand your reasoning. I remember seeing this in person with Jake last November and the thing is an absolute beast! Someone will enjoy this rig.

Ya man. Hey, are you going on the OBDR run next spring? We had a blast this year. Well, except for the 14.7 million downed trees.

That looks like a rad trip. I'd definitely be interested. This is the only forum I'm on though so I'll have to remember to check back over there when the time comes.

I also forgot to mention some other items. It has fresh Denso O2 sensors in the front with URD O2 simulators in the rear and a DeatschWerks 255LPH fuel pump with a NAPA external fuel filter. This means you can run Pemex pumped out of a rusty drum if need be, and easily replace the fuel filter beside the trail somewhere. A spare filter is $2.83 vs the Toyota way of doing it, which is to let the in tank filter clog until it burns up the factory fuel pump and you have to drop the tank to get at the darn thing. This adventure came about due to an extenuating set of circumstances that required me to run two stroke race fuel in the truck to get back to civilization. It ran great, but toasted the O2 sensors and I was worried about the fuel pump. I don't think Toyota rates them for VP110 with Maxima castor oil in it. Anyhow, you could piss in the tank to get home now, the new fuel pump is safe with anything.
