I'd like to know also? Non jbl, p&t package. Harness should be here soon. Plan to install nav over ride, front cam and phone mirroring.

I have the P&T package with JBL and mine works just fine as well. Not sure about any issues you've heard about.

I can confirm mine is working just fine with no issues after the install. I had heard from others prior to my install that they had issues

A few people can't read pin numbers in reference to connectors and cut the wrong wires. Every instance I've seen of these mods not working have been down to user error, made worse by bad advice. The wiring info posted in this thread is accurate.

de-badged, tint front windows, led interior lights, door sill protectors, led b/up lights, 5" factory step rails, yellow turn signal bulbs, added 4 D ring tie downs. Took off the black vinyl stripes between the doors. Changed the grill - from Custom Car Grills, Finally got a tonneau cover put on. 31" light bar ( white & amber ), tailgate light bar, sunvisor covers ( to hide warning labels ), new bedside decals - still too cold to put them on tho. Flag decals to go on too, again too cold still. Got a 2 switch, switch plate to replace that useless cubby hole to the left of the steering wheel.. still to be installed ( hopefully this weekend ). Upgraded the tires to G/Y Duratracs... loving them, no plowing the driveway !!
Hi, I have a quick question.. I bought the back up mod from Brendan - is your kit compatible with his... ?? Thanks

Worked for me. I didn't use all the included wire from his kit due to this harness though. Works as normal, the reverse lights don't come on or anything weird.

I got my harness from a website, but I don't see why it would make an difference.

I saw this post after, I ordered Brendan's kit. So I'd rather not cut into the factory wires if possible. So I see this is the way to go.
I still have to order this kit.

Yes, I bought his, then I couldn't bring myself to cut factory wires. I saw the harness so I bought it hoping I could avoid cutting factory wires. It worked, may not have been the most efficient, but I'm happy.

Cool. Good to know. So I will hold off putting mine in until I order/receive this harness.
Thanks again for your input. You convinced me.

I honestly havent read through his entire thread, but if his requires that you cut wires on the 28 pin HU harness, this will work to keep u from having to cut those factory wires.

You are welcome. I had these made when shopping for a harness for my own vehicle. The cheapest I found was for $25. I figured if I ordered in bulk, I could save some folks some money. And it gives my wife something to do between painting her toenails.

Installed mine today and everything went great. Thank you again Josh. Do you have a source for the 24 pin harness to add a front camera?
