Sold

I am selling individual Wheels with tire for a TRDOR. Great opportunity if you have a bad tire, damaged wheel, or just want a matching wheel for your spare. I'm asking $200/ each. Tires have lots of tread left (less than 10K miles) and lug nuts/ TPMS sensors are included. I'm located in Austin, TX but will be headed to Houston this weekend. I would strongly prefer local sale.

I'm keeping 1 of these so I have 3 available to sell. They are all in like new condition (no scratches or marring of any kind).

 

Why are you keeping 2?

Probably would be easier to sell if all 4 were being sold as a set.

 

Plenty of sets available here and on ebay. Also plenty of people looking for a single wheel.

I'll let y'all know if I don't find local buyers. Seems like it would be cost prohibitive to ship a wheel/ tire, but I have no experience with doing so.

Going to investigate shipping costs tomorrow. Apparently, the cheapest way to ship a wheel/ tire is using Fastenal. You pack the wheel tire/ throw it on a palate, and drop it off at the store. bwonger and Speedbird are both close to a store location so I'll swing by my Fastenal and get you both shipping quotes tomorrow. Would much rather sell here than pay the ebay seller fees.

Checked with Fastenal after hearing that it was the most affordable way to ship a wheel. I think that may be true for an entire set but they quoted $75 for one wheel, which they said was the minimum shipping charge.

Anyone ever shipped a wheel/ tire? What's the most economical way to do it?

Yep. The problem is that their minimum shipping charge is $75. It works great for shipping a set of wheels, but not so good for a single.

Do you have the boxes from your new wheels? If so, would you consider shipping just the one wheel, in one of those boxes, for $150 shipped?
