2nd and 3rd gen Tacoma KB Voodoo bed rack. This is the 10” mid rise rack that works with both short or long beds. Rack is currently assembled but can be taken apart if you wish to hav le shipped (would need to repaint hardware if it is taken apart)

I bought this rack off of someone a couple months ago. Used it twice for camping, and then removed it from my truck and did a full restore. Unfortunately due to financial circumstances and still not back work, I need to sell the rack off to recoup some finances. Below are some details on the rack and the restore.

rack was completely taken apart and all rust areas and spots have been treated and I have done a full restore in the rack to put it in like new condition. All spots were protected after rust removal. All areas seemed to be just surface rust. But I still took full Steps to fixing and protecting the rack. Below are details of what was done:

-Complete wire brush on the rack.
-treated with loctite naval jelly rust remover

-sanded down top layers of powder coat to ensure no more spots We’re hiding and to help them from reappearing

-degreased with custom shop restoration

-3 layers of rustoleum primer
-then Coated with 3 layers of rustoleum professional grade flat black spray as well as some hand painted areas (cracks. Corners. Tough to reach spots as well as All hardware)

-all hardware was replaced with stainless steel items including all carriage bolts, all nuts, washers, and the bracket hardware.


I have put about $175 and two weeks/40 hours of work alone into the materials and hardware to restore this rack to what looks like new condition. As of now, the rack has NOT been used or mounted since the restore. We we are moving into a new place and it taking up too much room in the house. So if it is not sold before our moving date it will have to be mounted for transportation purposes. Again, It has NOT been used since the restore.
