Had these on my truck for a few months and really liked the color and brightness but then with the additional wiring of a dual battery setup, compressor, winch, solar, other lighting these just added too much wires for my liking.

I just tested both bulbs and including an additional ($45) brand new spare. Also new blue o-ring gussets that some people said were needed and were sent to me by Xenon Depot but I didn’t find that I needed them.

This is tempting. I have an older kit but I had to cut the holes in my dust covers and my kit doesn't have the grommets.

 

The older kit made you cut the dust covers? Nothing had to be cut on mine.

 

I have a 4runner. To get the wiring into the back of the light housing you need to cut the dust covers on the stock housing. I have an older HID kit that did not have the grommets to seal them off. Right now I'm running a glob of silicone. Works but it's in the back of my mind.

 

In the original post I had forgotten that the reason I got the extra bulb was that I had over twisted one of the originals and one of the holding taps broke. Underneath the plastic that broke is metal so it still held and didn’t bounce hence why I didn’t replace it. But I’m including the brand new $45 bulb & the blue gussets if it doesn’t hold to your liking.
