Would this fit on a 2nd gen? I am not familiar with the bed differences. Are the 3rd gen bed gunnels/caps wider than 2nd?

 

I’m not sure. I think there is some bed size difference between the 2nd and 3rd gen. Happy to take measurements is helpful.

 

I think the bed is taller in 3rd gen, so the cap will sit higher I believe.

 

interested if it fits 2nd gen. can you please measure:
-widest width at bottom
-length along bottom edge
-height

I am concerned it would hang over the outsides of my bed.

 

Width at front is about 63”, width at back is about 62”, Height is just over 20” and the length is just over 63”.

 

Those dimensions check out. I sent Alucab an email as well. Can you take a pic of the trim piece on the bottom of the rear door where it meets the tailgate? I know the shape of the tailgate is diffrent - I asked Alucab if this piece is replaceable.

 

Do you mean the part that wraps over the tailgate? I’ll upload a photo.
