Alright everyone that placed orders yesterday should have received tracking.

Still got a fair amount left. Since I got a lot of interest in the super cheap Y-Splitter I'm trying to gauge interest in a more complete-kit:

Basically it would include a push-style switch with all of the leads soldered-on. All you would need to do is tap an illumination + and illumination - for the switch using the provided posi-taps (these things are the best), run the remaining two leads to the head unit, splice the camera wire however you choose, and tap the constant 12 V using another provided posi-tap. If you'd be interested just like this message or post. I can probably make them for about $40 shipped -- cheaper if I didn't use posi-taps... but again they're the best and worth their weight in gold. It would be even cheaper if people didn't want OEM-style switches.

I’m interested in the kit with an OEM style switch.

Not going to happen. Re-read the first post:
For sale is just the Y-Splitter with a diode soldered in-line to prevent back-flow:

Hmm. Then I guess I misread the second post that said “he is gauging interest in a more complete-kit”.

If you don't mind, throw a link to the plug n play kit in this thread so I don't miss it

I'd also be interested in the full kit!

Depending on the cost of the complete kit, I would but two. I'm guessing that this would work on both a 2019 and a 2021?

Super dumb question: I have backup anytime w/ existing mod. I have an extra camera and would like to mount it on the passenger side to see blind spot just in front of front wheel. Could this be tied into the head unit somehow without destroying front/back cameras? I have a 2020 off-road. The front camera already installed is an aftermarket unit.

Here's a better ballpark as I had time to look at my materials costs:

For a complete plug-and-play -- meaning no crimping or tapping whatsoever -- with a small push-style switch located below the head unit it would cost $60 shipped. This is $10 cheaper than AnyTimeBackUpCamera and includes a breakout harness for getting ill +/- off the ETC button. I've seen a thread where someone is selling breakout harnesses to tap ill +/- for ~$30 on their own.

Now if you wanted the same kit but for the left side you would need to add $10 for the larger switch as they're just more expensive. I get a better deal on the small switches only. It would still include the ETC button breakout harness but would come with a longer lead (at no extra cost) just because the materials to get ill +/- from the factory bed light switch are a little more expensive and harder to source. It could be done... but it'd just cost more. Hope this helps. I'll have a prototype mid-this-week on my truck and will try to take pictures of it.

$60 for a non tapping kit sounds good to me

Was looking at an older-quote. We're looking closer to $75 shipped! I'll have more firm details when I finish the prototype.

For my 2017 TRD Sport I would need the kit for the left side (large switch) account all spots below the head unit have switches in them now.
