For sale is an aluminum coolant tank for the supercharger. It replaces that horrid black plastic stock tank that constantly leaks. This tank was made by member Mightytacoman. I powder coated it black, and used it for around 6k miles. Swapped it out for the gen2 version that has a different top. SOLD

Does it mount in the same location as the plastic one? And is it the same or increased capacity?

It mounts exactly where the stock one does and uses the stock bolts. I believe it holds slightly more than stock, but I'm not 100% on that.

Just installed mine yesterday. It does hold slightly more than stock. But fluid capacity wasn't as important as aluminum construction > plastic construction.

It mounts to the stock bracket for the coolant tank and uses the same fasteners. Installation was simple as long as you're careful. It can be done without spilling much coolant as long as you're able to control/balance the fluid flow.
