How much does he want for it? My buddies is about the same as that but hes on 32s and I have only seen him get stuck like once ever. 35s on that little thing are huuuge. Yota axles and 37s would be unstoppable

    Yeah maybe.

My last rig though to your earlier point was a '85 pick up that I built up for significantly less than $30K and did everything I ever asked of it.

Really liked to be able to drive to the dusy, moonrocks, or the rubicon or whatever and wheel it for a few days then drive it home. Most damage I ever did was a broken leaf spring and a driveline.

(the squeak was my driveline rubbing on my gas tank skid)\

Only sold it because I have three kids now and I need more seats.

He just threw out a random number ($16,000) but seems really high when I try to find something comparable. I think I have seen every single samurai for sale in the US and its a small market for them. I'll PM you a pic and get your thoughts. It's been sitting in his shop unused for about 10 years now. I asked when was the last time it was out and when he's taking it out again and thats when he aid hes going to sell it since he never drives. it.

Nice truck dude! wish I had the rubicon in driving distance! haha The jeep will get it done though. Who cares if its not a toyota if youre on the trail. I built up an 87 4runner for the same as your 85 pickup. Even with the SAS it was cheap

$16K seems pretty damn high. I know they are not easy to find but they dont really command that high of a price. I think hes got a lot of work into it and is trying to recoup. Ill shoot the pics to my buddy and see what he says when you send them over. He found his in a field on a farm and got his dirt cheap

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
Who needs it, when you have this?

With all due respect to MC, id PERSONALLY, thats me, not everyone... would rather have a solid axle for crawlin. My 40 has a ton of MC parts. My firstgen 4runner was basically a marlin crawler billboard. Still would rather have the smaller older toyota, solid axles, and dual cases on the back of a w56 5 speed.

MC Sure does make some great shit though...

They did my whole drivetrain (clutch, HD Trans, Dual ultimate MC08 with 2.28/4.7 competition gear set). Front and rear e lockers with 5.29 gears. Both my drive shafts. Ordered all of my all pro suspension back when they werent owned by trail gear. And misc other stuff. They are killer.

Also, PSA.... dont fill the trans and T cases with gear oil until its in the truck.... take that from a horrible experience I once had
