I like embarrassing jeeps with 23" tires and the challenge of it. :bucket:

jk, prolly after I swap in a turbo 7a-ge... in a few years. :p Not really a way to regear these things without completely swapping out the transmission. I want to enjoy the 30 mpg for now. ;)
    haha:D:cool:

It seems to be the consensus that ORIs are not ideal for go-fast applications, but what about pairing them up with some bypass shocks? I would think that if you tuned them properly, the ORIs would do their thing in the rocks and when it came to go-fast, the bypass shocks would sort of take over once the ORIs start to fade.

Why not just get a coil over so you don't need 15 different shocks? haha.

    oops did I mention I bought a cummins :p

    this VVVVV

IMO tune the shocks and coilovers to your needs...... if want I believe smooth rock crawling for ORI, I personally dont know if they will replace the Coilovers in fast applications, while the new shocks seem to be holding up well, time will tell

I can limp myself back to camp on a broken shock seal I cant do that on a ORI seal.......

Don't a lot of rigs run bypasses regardless of suspension setup?

    Quick search-

    hahahahaa yup :p

also yes MOST 4400 "unlimited" Ultra4's are running C/O's and Bypassed shocks....... the C/O's are there to hold the weight, the bypasses are for dampening :p

most of you SAS guys seem to know your stuff so can some of you tell me the perks/ points of 4 linking the rear and the down sides of it?
im curious if its really more popular for the LT guys or the offroader rock crawlers or both

So i assume adding the bypasses with the C/O is only beneficial for rigs hitting bumps at high speeds?

Or controlling a top heavy rig driving down the freeway with a 80 mph side wind, but yeah speed is the theory..

Yes the hassle is worth it. Moving the gas tank and the cost of it is truely the only downside. 4 link is optimal. :D
