As long as it's well built/good quality I'll buy it. Trail-Gear or otherwise. :notsure:

I'll probably end up using TG limit straps among other things.

Nothing wrong with TG except for the stigma of having their product from others who will give you shit about it.

I think my favorite TG product I'm using is the trunion bearing eleminator kit. That kit has been bomb proof so far and holding up well.

It's just like any place you buy parts from there is high quality and low. just depends on what you get.. I ran lots of TG parts and had to replace a few due to it being a poor quality part. as far as the stigma of others hating well the guy that started it did some shitty things but that's on his shoulders and his alone..

Which pump did you get? I thought about getting their pump but again, skeptical  Since PSC stopped making the 3.4 Tacoma kit, I have to piece something together, figured I should start with the PSC ram which I got in the mail today :D

im getting ready to do hydro assist on the cheap for around 100 since im buying a used ram :D

there are few helpful writeups i found at marlincrawler and pirate that will allow you to build a system for less then 200 bucks if you bought the ram, lines, cooler and mounting brackets all new..

Yeah I can cheap out on the system but I'd rather do it right the first time with a high output pump, new reservoir and nice ram. I've had plenty of steering issues in the past on my last Tacoma, I don't want problems on my 4 door.

Better spill the beans!! I figured this pump would work...

    http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/PSC-Extreme-Duty-PS-Pump-for-GM-Jeep-Suzuki-Toyota-p-1107.html

Looking at the mount points on the stock pump and stock bracket, it looks like it will work. There is a small bracket on the bottom of the stock pump that should bolt up to the PSC pump. I know with the PSC 3.4 pump that they offered a while back requires a 1/4" spacer in conjunction to be able to bolt it up, not entirely sure about what needs to be done with the stock lower bracket. I've included a picture of the PSC 3.4 pump on a 4runner as well as a picture of the bracket Trail Gear sells and the stock bracket bolted in place.:confused::confused:

You can see the spacer at the back of the stock mount in the first picture.

Oh and the PSC pump may be cheaper but you'll also have to buy a pulley for it which is another $40-50 so it is a wash, I believe. Unless you've got some other part number that includes a pulley.

Got my D60 completely assembled today :)
