Spent 2 seconds Googling this... Disc knuckles have a provision for a caliper.

That would be a driver side flat top knuckle you posted, not a right one, or passenger one. If he has both, snag both.

Seems legit. They've redesigned the pulley a little bit. It now has 3 tapped holes around the center piece probably to easily remove the pulley if I need to rather than using a puller (still has the lip for a puller). Also has bigger machined cut outs so the mount bolt can be installed/removed without removing the pulley like you had to do a long time ago. I measured the ID of the pulley and OD of the pump shaft and get a .005" press fit between the two. As a machinist, this is a bit much, I would like to see .002" max. Can't blame anodizing as it adds less than .001" to the overall tolerances. Might call PSC on this issue :D

I've seen this picture many times - they used this picture to show how the studs are shifted/offset compared to the disk brake one. what do you mean provision?? The reason i was confused it because in the picture i posted, it looks as thought the spindle studs may be shifted (which may signify a drum brake knuckle).

Also - i never said it was a right one, clearly its a driverside knuckle. (right/wrong = right)

    Anyways thanks for the input.

Well i feel really lucky -
So on the above article ^^^ I'm getting a driverside knuckle brand new for $50. Just needs the arm.

I also found a guy with a pair of flat top knuckles, both from a 76 chevy 3/4 ton. dana 44. Both are milled and tapped for studs. He's gonna press the old ball joints out of them, sand blast and primer them. One has all spindle studs and high steer studs plus the arm. He only wants $120....

I think im gonna buy all 3 knuckles, and sell one for enough to cover the others.

Are you that thick headed? Look where the blue arrow is pointing. If it has the indentation cast into the knuckle for a disc caliper, it has the proper rotation on the spindle for a disc brake caliper bracket. That's all you need to know.

listen here douche - i can see the notch in the cast for the caliper. If you read what i typed you would see i was concerned with the spindle studs. As you can see (not sure if you need glasses), it would appear that the bottom spindle stud is not directly above the casting label "L", as it is in many other examples. That is where my confusion lies.

So quick to name call  You're awfully defensive. Do you get picked on a lot for being a tranny? :D

Spindle studs orient the brake caliper bracket and that's it. Who cares where the casting label is? That literally has zero to do with the functionality of your build and everything to do with the manufacturing of the knuckle. You posted a picture of a driver side knuckle, I posted a picture of a passenger side knuckle. They mirror each other. Still confused?

If you're certain that the functionality of the knuckle (given the stud pattern may or may not be shifted) will be fine. That's all i needed to know. For all i know the casting label should be in the same spot etc. and ideally the bottom stud should be in perfect vertical alignment with the "L". I used sites such as the one you pulled the pic from (pirate) and couldn't come to a clear conclusion.

How much lift will u needs to do a SAS on a 2 gen Tacoma. Is it possible to do it and keep the ride height around 6 over stock? Or will the truck become a giant? Like to see it bases on 37 tire

21.5" Frame Height just behind the front body mount. 37" Tires. Don't let the gap at the front fender fool you, my fender wells are clearance big time. I could run 40's and not rub.

Measure from the ground to the bottom of the frame if you're stock, and you will see the difference in height.

For reference, I'm running about 2" of lift (still IFS up front ) and 33's and my frame height at the rear is only 22"... and the frame raises up quite a bit. I haven't ever measured my frame height at the belly.
