Bumps are to far inboard. You need to move them to the outside of the frame. maybe bump off the lower link mounts?

Sorry I guess I should have worded that different. More like any problem with not having any bumps at full articulation but only at full stuff on both sides, IE bottoming out but not slowly flexing.

I really can't fit them anywhere else is the thing.

Putting the full weight of the truck on a coilover while articulating is a bad idea. Going to wreck the coilover pretty quick.

Yeah your bumps should be installed so they don't hit at flex but work only in full compression.

Looking good! Don't think I've ever seen the shocks mounted like that before.

Yeah his arctic truss is just so beefy. My buddy Joe was kind of copying my setup when he built this one. Plus on that ford kp 60 theres little room next to the pumpkin on the drivers side to mount the coil over on the axle. turned out really nice and everything is easy to get to. FWIW my friend who built this is only 19. He did an awesome job and his welds are fantastic.

That does look great! The exhaust must have been moved a lot closer to the trans if he has his upper link ran on the passenger side. I'm going to stick with keeping mine on the driver side. It might be more of a pain in the ass to build a bracket for but I will feel better about not having to mess with my exhaust :D

Surprisingly enough he didn't have any exhaust fitment issues, and his is a 2000 and he's running 2 cats. He did take it to an exhaust shop though and it turned out fine.

But I actually agree with you because I had to buy an aftermarket cat and it's touching the upper link on my runner haha. I'll be following your build. Definitely interested where you mount your upper link. You going to go off of the pumpkin?

Yeah I'm going off the pumpkin. Bought special MIG wire with a high nickel content so I can MIG weld mild steel to cast iron with 75/25 gas. Its called Royal 44-30 and costs about $80 for a 2lb roll  I will grind into the diff so I get adequate penetration, pre/post heat, all that good stuff.
