    Yeah, but bamf is a little cheaper plus I like to try and get stuff from members when I can :cool:

    only thing I didn't see on your list is how you where going to bolt the T100 tcase to your trans. they have a different bolt pattern. do you have an auto or a 5 speed??

    I have a auto, I was told they had the same bolt pattern? As long as they both had the 3.4? Idk they guy could have been wrong though

    he is. we put a t100 tcase in my buddy's second gen runner when he did his 3.4 swap. I had to custom build a adapter plate. I would look into running a lefty case or crawl box set up it's more money but the end result is better.

    So if I went with a inch worm taco box it would work? Sorry I don't know much about this kinda stuff and as I said this will all be a learning experience for me

    I missed that whole t100 tcase thing lol... rctoy is right that won't work. You could source a ps case from the older toyotas and get the adapter plate to make it fit on the tacoma... will be much cheaper.

    depending on how easy it is to find a top shift pre Tacoma transfercase. Yes it's the simple/ cheap way to go.

    yeah as long as it's a gear driven passenger drop top shift case. Oh damn I almost forgot. make sure you don't get 21 spline (4cyl) gear kit for it you will need the 23 spline kit.

    Any insight on why the t100 tcase. From what I've found the case they used in the 3.4 t100s was a mirror of the Tacoma case. The bolt pattern should be the same v6 pattern, the input is the only thing I hadn't seen any info on.

    They have different bolt patterns and the t100 is a forward shift case vs the taco which is top shift.

    The hellfire fab knuckles are spendy and you'll be waiting for a while. You'll probably want a RHD steering arm though and ARP studs

    You'll likely want to source a kit to rebuild the whole axle as the AWD of the 80s is hard on shit. Think trunnions, wheel bearings, seals, wiper seals...

    shame you don't have a 5 speed because I still have the 5 speed that the T100 case came off of.
