I have no personal experience but a good friend of mine built a radius arm setup back in 03 for his zj using johnny joints and is still using the same ones with no rebuild and he likes them. Jeeps running on 37's with a v8 and a 4spd atlas.

Snow? We have had a shitty winter, only a few days of snow here.

Anybody see a problem with running a 2.0 14 inch coilover with 7/8ths shaft instead of a 2.5? The 2.0 14's are 3 inches shorter compared to the 2.5 14's from radflo.

Yea same here, kinda sad. What's your intended purpose on the truck? I called Ben @ filthy motorsports and am waiting to see what he recommends. Jon mentioned I should call him. I'm thinking he's going to say the 2.0. 2.5s are generally for racing or heavy rigs.

Reliable dd wheeler. I'm not going to run resi's unless I start heating up the shocks. Can always add them on later.

The only reason to go with a bigger shock is if you're hauling ass offroad. 100% of people on here will not overheat a 2" coilover on a crawler.

I don't know about Radflo coilovers, they treat the shock shafts which makes them a lot more brittle than a standard shock shaft. My buddy Ray from RST broke a Radflo shock shaft on the Rubicon and he wasn't doing anything crazy.

Ah that too thanks. I think my truck other than a stiff shock rides great with my 4 link though compared to yours I bet it rides like shit.

Sure it wasn't a manufacturers defect? I can't find anything different that they do to the shafts compare to other companies.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Yeah ita no desert rig but it does alright at 60+ on rough dirt roads. Id like to do a little more tuning to the struts but i just dont have the time to pull them appart.

I agree, 2" is more than sufficient for crawling. Even if you happen to overheat them, I don't think it make a noticeable difference in the rocks? :notsure:

Speaking of hauling ass... do ya'll think this cooler would be sufficient for oil and steering?

No difference at all in the rocks between 2 and 2.5's when heated up because shocks fade at speed, not when going slow. The 3.0 bypass shocks on the UFO car at KOH (4400 class) were hot to the touch when he pulled into Hammertown. You could barely hold your hand on them

I'd personally run separate coolers for both systems but thats just me. Don't know much about those dual coolers. I assume it does two jobs half as good compared to having one cooler per system. What do I know though? I only use a standard Derale cooler for steering :D

Link didn't work. Enduro joints are good because you can rebuild them. I can say a heim of that caliber may never wear out on a trail rig and probably won't make much noise if you keep them lubed.

So, 3 link rear or 4 link rear? My rear suspension needs an upgrade! If I 4 link, I'll have better high-speed offroad performance (I think) and the gas tank will be in the bed. 3 link will be easier to setup since I won't have to move the tank but 4 link is a great long-term mod... Decisions decisions...

Really? Thats interesting! What about road vibes? That's another thing I heard is that heims don't soak up as much due to the metal on metal contact vs the poly in the other joints

You could 3 link it now and see how you like it. If 4-link becomes an itch that needs to be scratched, it'll be easier since you already have the lower links and shocks in place. Jerry and Wyatt both have proven that 3-link is doable and streetable.
