They look good. Looks tall too. I'm assuming they are new springs front and rear?

It is tall, bout the same as the red '85 was. I'm reusing my TG 4" springs.

Just measured 28" to the frame bone dry. That worked fine for me in the other truck so I'll leave it for now.

Ah, the TG 4" springs, basically 8" springs, haha. Too bad about old red. I've been keeping up on all the rust on my truck since I just don't want it to turn into a bigger POS

The stupid low frame height fad doesn't appeal to me. Yeah it looks cool but I would get tired of getting hung up or dragging my belly on everything. I have tg 4" springs and chevy 63's on 39.5's with a 28" frame height. I would like to get it down to 26" or 27" but that's it.

Well eventually it becomes a tipping point. And it looks goofy with disproportionate lift and tiny tires... Did you skip leg day?!?! :D

Anything below 24 is too low and anything above 26 is too high :luvya: best of both worlds. But, really IDC what people run.

I drug the belly skid on the '85 a few times. I also got it pretty close to tippy a couple times. It's fine for me at this point, it looks good with the 37's IMO.

My new one is 26 with 37s my old one was 28 on 40s....both have Run Hammers and multiple other trails there just fine....
Toyotas sit horizontal and after running jeeps (sit vertical) for so long the roof height is good they are light and the belly clearance rocks......
My jeep on 37s sat 19" belly 21 frame and was 1.5" taller at roof....I thought that was decent for. 4dr but the Toyota kills it....
Even when I link I will stay around the 26" mark....helps I'm 5" wider than. Stock as well and with the wheelbase its just fine.....

same as my 94 28" frame height and on 37's wheeled great. only time it ever rolled was when I was doing this really muddy hill climb and it went sideways. I think anything would have rolled the hill was so steep.

My truck is at 25" with 6" of uptravel and I'm very happy with it. Can't wait to link the rear and cage it so I can really rage on it. I got bit by the go-fast bug

please don't get me wrong I have nothing against trucks being low. I think that there is something for everyone and I'm with the I like it tall and slow crowd.

I was happy with the idea of just a slow rock crawler at first. It was like a flip of a switch when I saw the videos of Matt's truck. So I blame him. :anonymous:

Yup! I was just up at Prairie City in Folsom a couple days ago driving around the Ultra 4 Stampede track hitting the jumps. 35mph isn't fast enough to catch air on the start finish jump LOL Didn't really want to push the rear leafs faster than that but maybe I will next time I go. I get way more of a rush driving fast offroad  Wait til you get your truck up and running!

Really? I wonder why everyone says the trails are packed. Tanner went to Moab for EJS last year and said they were able to run every trail they wanted to without seeing any Jeeps.
