That is fuel. His cell had a 15" crack along the front bottom seam. It was pouring on the exhaust, we got pretty nervous. But with full hydro steer, towing him out wasn't working well at all. We unbolted the cell and tilted it up and strapped it, and luckily he had enough fuel to make it to his trailer.

Oh yea for sure. He also had a leaky brake line fitting. It just wasn't his day.

My 4Runner on the other hand is doing AWESOME, I am really happy with it, just have a few small things to address.

Well let's see, losing the brakes, with no emergency brake, and running out of gas, and not having steering due to full hydro...:p I think he is happy to trailer it wherever he goes.

    Thanks!

I had a buddy that lost a coil on his buddy and it had full hydro but he also had a standard so I just pushed him out of the hills and he left it in 4th gear so he still had hydro boost brakes and steering.

So he had it in gear but not running, so the pump will still feed the ram?

yup just as long as the engine is turning. and since 4th gear is 1 to 1 it spun the motor fast enough to actually be able to have decent assist.

Hmm that is interesting. All in all I'm just glad it didn't burn to the ground lol but yeah, I got up on the wrong side of the bed or something Saturday.... leaking brake line, busted fuel cell, busted can of rtv in my toolbox (got on my shirt and shorts too), fire extinguisher sprayed in my cab haha. With the luck I was having that day I'm suprised it didn't burn!

Is your fuel cell hard Mounted? I knew someone that had a comp jeep and he was always breaking tabs off his fuel cell, until he mounted it with bushings and the problems stopped. Turns out rhs frame was flexing and fatigueing the metal.
