If I had 6" uptravel and 42s I'd be at the same frame height.

Great now that I started thinking about linking the rear im actually contemplating bobing the bed or just falt bedding the truck and making racks for the gear I carry. Eff didn't want it to go this far. Gonna have to give it time.

Cut away.....making modular racks is simple.
Just made this for my kids crf 50. I'll make a different rack to fit it for different use.

Is ~22 degrees (from center) acceptable for the turning radius? That's about as close as I can get before it hits the engine cage mount.

Unless I move the axle forward.

This is as close as it gets to the OEM stop screw.

22 degrees is fucking horrible. Stock axles can do 37 or more. You can even clearance shafts for 50 degrees.

I'm going to have to agree with Eric here. I'm pretty sure I have more than that and still can't turn for shit but I'm also longer than you as well. Addressing this issue is pretty high on the priority list when I get it back together

Are we talking from center, or total? It's 22 degrees from center, sooo ~44 total?

Hmm. You've got me curious now but I have no way to really measure unless you guys have some redneck home method. All I'm saying is my truck doesn't turn for shit but I'm also at 127". One of the reason's I'm shortening it down to 120".

Turning degree is measure from straight to one angle. You should have at least 32 degrees each way. Ideally 35+. Usually most can't get over 40 due to links and other factors. I'd say I was at roughly 25 and now I'm at 32-35... FUCKING TON better. Better than links, I'm dead serious. Fuck it's so nice to turn.

Maybe some wheels with more backspacing or wheel spacers are in order.

Steering isn't important when you can just run everything over strait on.
