I saw the borgenson stuff and may have to use that for the ford box end. I also saw write-ups on how to make the stock Tacoma steering work with some welding here and there however the pics are all gone on pirate so that doesn't help, wanted to see how people on here got thier shit to steer on somewhat of a budget.

Yeah, that's a good point. Personally, the companies that are more likely to get my business are those that put a lot of effort into providing tech and explaining the nitty gritty details of their products instead of using flashy advertising. I interpret that as they care more about what they build and I also see it as respect towards a customer base vs. relying on gullibility.

    Agree 100%!

That's why I swing from hi angle drive lines nuts so much. Jess talked to me for an hour on the phone about driveshafts when I first installed my crawler and talked me out of buying a $600 shaft from him and told me to go local for what I was doing with the truck at the time. He could have just taken my cc and sold me something I didn't even need.

Speaking of pictures, I tore everything down yesterday and used like 8-10 cans of spray paint to keep the rust at bay before rolling it out of the garage for winter storage.

I was wedged up against a tree on that side and the front dropped into a hole raising up that side of the truck and rip.... That's the only way I can think of at least.

I always thought it would be cool to tie an exco cage into sliders, not so much now lol.

Well I rolled my shit today and the exo is welded to my sliders and it held up great from what I've seen so far. I'm going to check it out more closely tomorrow. My "x" in the main hoop is welded to the frame though.
