Yeah I saw that burgandy one that's going around and was like wtf when I saw the arms. I'm surprised the wheel doesn't drop back into the firewall more at droop

Better to ask what I have not done.
My lowers are going to be close to 38-40 inches. Im just tryinng to figure out why people do them short. I can not find a reason as to why they are better....

Some are restricted by wheelbase or components of the frame and drivetrain. Others might feel they have more ground clearance with shorter links. I keep finding that the middle ground is best in these circumstances.

Good info guys, thanks. I want to buy the whole thing from them also to save on shipping to Hawaii if they can put it all on one pallet. I've shipped enough armor here to know that shipping a complete axle won't be cheap.

    Yes
Also front driveshaft length, and break over angle.

And for the record as far as jeeps go, my stock fronts were about 15, 5/8" eye to eye, so super short I'm expecting my long arms to be about 36"

What's the general opinion on fox coilovers? Got a quote on a pair of remote reservoir 2.0's with 4 springs custom tuned for $1240

Run them! Those guys and Alltech were great to deal with at KOH. Just be aware "custom tuned" is not really a thing. They'll try to get them close but custom tuned doesn't come till after they're on the truck and ran.
