Can't take it with you when you die. And crawl box totally worth it. If I were to do it all over again I'd do the crawler before I did a lift or tires lol

Duals I believe are the best mod that I have done. Then a close second are lockers, tons and 40s.

Okay question. Wasn't planning to do 35s till I had the money but I want to trim the fenders and wheel wells while I have it apart so wondering what back spacing I need to run 35s? Currently have 16" rims but not sure the bus. Will have to check. What's everybody's preference? Axle will be stock width (same as rear)

Depends on where you are. Not that I'm following the seasons...making progress on getting mine running just as the wheeling season here is starting to wrap up. I can cool my shop better than the open buggy.

Take the leafs apart and build it with the main leaf compressed at full bump, beat and hack to fit. Then after its done, flex it out and beat and hack some more. BS all depends on clearing steering arms, tire width and a bunch of other stuff. The wheels i currently have i think are 4" of backspacing on an 8" rim. I don't know for sure though, they came off a fj40 and i got them cheap and they are beadlocks so I'm running them.

Finishing up a backbone on the 14B. Anyone have a source/suggestion for a fill/inspection plug?

Why not just use the stock fill port? You're gonna be pulling the cover after every race anyways for inspection.
