    Goddamn thats an ugly truck, even if i was sponsored or worked for fox i would be embarassed to drive that around. Op never said how much he paid for it, and no sympathy since it sounds like he bought it sight unseen.

But here I sit with exactly what I wanted kicking ass taking names and not wasting my time with said names.

    ^^^^ what did I just say about people being dick smacks? Then you gotta go and single your self out like a class A cock bite. He just offered up a project to someone else after fully disclosing his mistake and you gotta put him down for it. How about just keep your opinion to your self and support a fellow wheeler with ideas or something. Fucking Savage.

    Yeah, someone point that out to me after the fact. And You're right. Too late, Basketcase is mine now. It'll get fixed. It'll be cool. I'll try to get pictures up of the craptastic fab work later. It's a pain in my ass since we lost tapatalk

    I do prefer the second gen. My big ass doesn't fit well in first gens. And I already have an 05 Access cab Tacoma 6 speed, so that mean spare parts work on two vehicles.

    I've got a second gen sitting in my driveway that had a hack-job sas done to it too that I am having to redo. I feel your pain, but dont let the work overwhelm you. Like you said, you've got all the parts so now it's time to do it right.

    @rctoy gets it

    I posted because, why the fuck not. There's only a handful of linked SAS second gens on here so why the fuck not post a build up of one. I could have bought other trucks, better deals, whatever. That's life, everyone knows what you shoulda done after you do it. This is what I got and what I'll work with. I aint bitching. I don't give a fuck. I have the resources to get it done. It'll take a few months to build up all the money I need and to find time in the shop to get it done. But the job will get done, and it'll be cool. Very few people could bring this back from it's current state of fuckedupedness.

    Assholes will talk shit before, during and after cause that's what assholes do. That's why so many people with actual cool shit and lots of skill and knowledge don't post here anymore. And most of those running their mouths will have nothing cooler.

    When this is over I'll have two "Fuckers said I couldn't do it" Tacomas.

    I got an 05 Tacoma, 14bolt rear, king pin 79 Dana 60 front, new 42s on wheels and a stack of other shit for 13k. It might not have been the best deal on Earth, but I've damn sure seen worse mistakes. Hell I've made worse mistakes.

    I've got a crawlbox sitting here that was gonna go in my truck but it'll go into Basketcase instead

    Probably gonna yank the bed and sell it to flatbed the rear. The frame had previously been cut for a bobbed bed apparently so I'll probably do a short flatbed with my spare behind the cab, tool boxes on the side and a spot for my RTT on top. The bed is clean and should get me $500, More importantly it'll free up some room while I'm working on other stuff

    Great thing about my local guys. They won't let you let a project sit unfinished. They'll talk shit till you get to work, then help you bust ass and get it done.

    I'm planning to but we'll see. I tend to get wrapped up in shit and forget about documenting it.
