I've been on these boards since my street racing days about 2000/2001 and it's always been that way.

I've probably run into a dozen of the shit talkers over the years. Most of them are barely worthy of a laugh. They're usually some inbred goofy looking fuck, some bitch with fucked up bitch of a wife, crack head, something like that. There's always a reason they have so much hostility and can't find a place to express it other than the perceived safety of the internet. Back then it pissed me off. A lot. Even fucked a couple people up at races because of it. Now I just laugh. Pathetic fucks.

Exactly! TW is about having a great time, and helping each other out. If you don't want to contribute to this fella getting his basket case back in order, go catch yourself a case of the go fuck yourself, and be gone.

sounds like you got a good plan and what to me isn't a bad deal, from being around another hacked up second gen quite a few times I almost wanna say its easier to fix a hack job than to start from stock. You got this!

@SGTCap to had the truck wasn't what you thought but it sounds like you have a good plan. I have a hard on for flat beds and have been compiling photos of ones I like. These are two of my favorites.

I kind of like each of those flatbeds.

It's to bad that there are so many hacks involved with offroad rigs ("Pro/Paid" and Amateur/Personal)

I knew my buggy wasn't ideal and had some things I would do differently. Once I broke some parts and new slightly different parts were different, it snowballed quickly down to a frame-off rebuild that will be done eventually.

I love that first flatbed. My girlfriend sent it to me earlier. The side boxes are definitely part of my plan. if you've seen my other Tacoma, I have a ting for tool boxes

Personally Im not a fan of flat beds. I think they look out of place. A truck with a bed or at least bedsides will always look better/cleaner. I was so happy to cut mine off and get my bedsides hung.

So on my leaf spring sas I keep getting a weird thud sound under my feet on the driver and passenger side of the truck when I take a corner or the body rolls a little. Does anyone know what this could be? It's starting to drive me crazy.

I think it really depends on the truck, and the quality. I don't think I've ever seen a nice one in person just online! I think in your case, yes your truck looks better with the bed sides. image.jpg

I get the same noise. Pretty positive mines the tie rod ends flipping from turning.
