    2.28:1 or 2.57:1, stock gears in each :/ Not many classes at all for vehicles. 2wd Stock, 4wd Stock, 4wd Street Legal Run what you brung. Honestly I've wanted to give it a shot for similar reasons, and I've already given her hell more than a few times on the trails so I figure what the heck.

    My ex wife never wanted me to try it or the mud drag (next weekend :D) so I'm kind of doing things for me this year. I just finished a 1400 mile wheeling weekends this weekend too...for me :D

    well then either put the 2.57 case in low and run 1st in the trans (assuming you're a standard) Or run compound low and put the shifter in 2nd, if you don't bounce off the rev limiter for more than 80 feet there is no point in it having another gear. its mostly trial and error. as far as the mud goes use your higher low range and put the shifter in second

    Not sure what you mean hear...I want to be screaming and hitting the rev limiter and then have the sled bog me down/slow me down? Or put the trans selector in 2nd and let it shift how it wants b/t 1-2

    I'm not worried about the mud, just never dragged a sled before

    what i meant is a full pull is 300 feet so if you bouncing of the limiter for 80 feet or less pulling down the track then that's but if it's more then probably a good idea to let the trans up shift. if you are using 1-2 and it's spitting for more than 80 feet give it another gear.
    Have you seen any of my pulls?

    It's kinda like dick measuring contest only the rest of those fuckers are 8 foot tall. I took 3rd place at state last year with a the smallest motor and the biggest tire. needless to say 8 rednecks with big block V8's went home and cried them selves to sleep on their cock shaped pillows.

    Edit: oh and it's one of the probably most stress full things you'll ever put your drive train through.
