So i am going to level the tacoma lean tomorrow by adding some rear leafs and messing with the spring perch, and fixing my off center rear axle. I just realized i dont have a good reference point to see how much its off since my rear bumper is bent, i eyeballed the fender trim and they arent the same on both sides, the top of my driver side bed rail is dented to shit, my drivers side slider tore off last year and its half assed welded back on.. damnit LOL!!

Rear cab mounts? Gas tank crossmember, the one the carrier bearing is on?

Cab mounts would work, both those cross members are jacked up.

I need to level my tacoma as well. The infamous "taco lean" actually got worse after the SAS. So whatever tricks you find let me know.

Though...for the front at least mine should be easier. Might just need to replace one of the driver side coilover coils with a different rate or just adjust the coilover itself with what I have now. For the rear I am not sure what the best solution will be.

I am probibly not going to work on it today since its supposed to be 20* colder than forcasted and my wife is on my ass to finish the bathroom i gutted 2 yrs ago, however i may still tinker around with some little stuff today... But my plan is to: Add 2 leafs back into my rear leafs on the drivers side and one to the pax side since my leafs are pretty clapped out, grind down the pax side leafs spring perch until its damn near frenched in, move the rear axle back to center, reset my pinion angle since having my truck jacked up fro 6 months with 5 tires in the bed bent the rear of the frame down and rotated my pinion up, and actually secure the brake lines to the axle.

It leans bad, like well over an inch and half difference.

Interesting. I might need to add a couple of leafs too to the rear springs.

so the weight of the tires on the bed while the truck was on stands really bent the frame? At some point you might was well just replace the entire frame in that thing. You seem to have had so many issues with it :D

Pretty sure it did, look at the post sas side shots in my build thrad.

Ill probibly just build the jeep willys i have sitting in a friends barn at that point. My current axles will fit perfectly under it, and put 35s on it sami style. Sad that a 1944 vehicle has a frame in nicer shape than my 2002.

I believe it. That old iron was built right.

Don't knock it till you try it. I have one left. I might have had it on tonight but Eddy stole my torch so I couldn't cut the drivers bed rail off.

This is all my welding so it doesn't look as good as other sections. But not bad for a guy that hasn't welded long enough to burn up his second roll of wire

Yep. Had to chop it up a bit to make it fit the second gen. Hopefully someday after I get the brackets and links in, and I can see if there is a way to make a crossmember similar to what @awsumdc makes with an intergrated trans/t-case skid.

Yeah my early Toyota guys were trying to get me to do a collar. It won't fit under mine without doing fuel cell

they are a little different tread pattern but still for $400 i couldn't say no. will build adapters for them and mount them onto the taco just for fun probably won't run those bearing killers for very long and then start hunting for some axle tech axles after i buy back my old 24 valve. The guy i sold it to is wanting to off load it and i haven't even pulled it out of the truck yet.
It'll push the other taco sas/rebuild back but that's ok my little girl can't even crawl yet let alone need a truck that can.
And i have these chilling in the shop for the Techoma
