    I just hope mine aren't too long. IIRC, my front lower links are 47" and the rears are 54" (w/ 120" wheelbase). At any rate, I'm convinced I'm going to have to ditch them for custom aluminum links.

    My fronts lowers are 50 ish and ride under my tcase. They drag here and there but that's what I built them to do

    14bolt front/rear is awesome.

    From the angle of the pic it seems like 44"s would clear. Hard to tell that the 42"s rub front tube fenders.

    That rig does look a bit tall for how short it is.

    When you say "we"....what do you mean? Are you building that rig at a shop??

    You might be ok with the links the way they are. Aluminum links are cool but I don't think they are necessary. Well....if you have the $$$ why not?

    My are next to the tcase as well.

    Yeah, at a shop. I work at Addicted Offroad now because of TW.



    A couple of coworkers have had several bent links. Scotty went to aluminum and it seems to have fixed the problem.

    So you work there now. That's great! Lots of great stuff always comes out of that shop.

    Very true if you bend aluminum links they pop back (for a lack of a better term lol) into shape.

    you know im not a ford fan and this frame flex's more than the damn suspension but over all it's coming together. This truck belongs to a good buddy of mine that i talked into rock crawling and the amount of spare parts we share because im helping him build it is amazing. rear drive shaft rear axle shafts all the flexible brake lines locker parts. i mean anything i can say hey i used that on my truck and liked it goes on his.

    Yeah that thing was way capable on 35's and a rear locker. it should be unstoppable after all this.

    94 with the 4.0 converted to auto and three linked in the front with a 78 ford king pin 60 Chev 63's in the rear ontop of the 14 bolt. We put him on 40's to start with but with some minior trimming he'll be running 42's so we can share one spare.

    Are those 40"s on the pic you posted? Hard to tell from my computer screen. Man, you guys running 42"s are crazy. 40"s to me seem gigantic as they are haha.

    The late 70's Ford D60 and 14bolt combo is really the best way to go for big tires. I cannot think of any other axle combination that can get you the most value for your money when it comes to strength.

    39.5 iroks so yeah. But he's going to bump to 42's next round. I love my 42's. Little harder to spin them but so worth it when climbing a shale rock hill

    with my 4cyl I am already pushing the envelop with 40" :D

    Who knows...maybe I'll go to 42"s if/when it becomes a trail rig only:p
