Had another piece of the puzzle show up today.

4wheelsupply machined the knuckles and supplied the arms.

Probably going to part out the Tacoma. I don't make enough money and won't in the foreseeable future in order to finish it.:bananadead:

Anyone need a fully caged chassis or axles? Haha

I might be interested in your axles. But am probably too poor to buy them. :(

Depends on how much money is getting thrown at it. Could be done in a few weeks if someone had the money. With my income, it would take another 5-10 years.

BTW, I have death wobble at around 40mph. Been messing with my alignment. With a 36" bar clamped to my rotors, I started from 1/8" toe out, and tried different toe settings all the way to 1/2" toe in. Nothing seems to help. All links are tight. The tires are brand new and have dynabeads in them. I have a friend coming over with balanced 35s, so we are gonna try them on to see if the tires are the culprit...

Tighten every bolt remotely connected to the steering system and axle. Check the sector shaft/pitman arm bolt as well as steering box bolts.

Thanks! Yeah, been going through all that all day... all links are tight, and I did get a half more turn on the pitman. Been checking everything after every run. One of my lower links was a little loose, and was hoping that was the cause, but it wasn't. Just did one last run for today, and still there at 45mph (speedo was off by 5 mph there so we GPS-ed it) I'll just wait for my friend to bring his tires and see. Last run was 7 degrees of caster, and 1/4" toe in on a 36" bar clamped to the rotors.
And I also stopped by sandy beach to make sure the manual T case works :D

And in case you guys didn't see the weld porn

Still need to add some more hangers and also a turboflex coupling in The Y pipe. One of the V band flanges is a little off, so there is stress on it when it clamps closed. A little bit of give will keep things from cracking.

My vote is the dynabeads. I've heard of them giving DW to guys around 45 mph

Dynabeads did fuck all for me in my MTR's. Definitely swap back to your stockers, or even your wife wheels for a quick drive around the block.
