I'm with you. Plus having a home nitrogen setup is not very high on my list of stuff I need taking up space in my garage.

I picked up a 2lb bottle, bought a cheap regulator, hose, and connector for under $140. the refills on that bottle are $13 and it takes up about as much space as a 12 pack of coke (FYI). If i had ORI's i would need a bigger tank and a better set up for the tank to be able to properly adjust the shocks. BradyT88 put ORI's under his IFS second gen and that guy has fucked with them so much i was like nope not doing that shit ever. I mean he's re-valved them like 3 times and is always hooking a hose up to the front end to change his ride.

so you play in the swamps and mud? i'm no expert but i don't think all that shit's gonna be good for seals. I'm not trying to talk you out of anything i'm just saying the internal bumps aren't talking me into anything either.

I think that's the smart way of doing it. And that's how you find the good deals too on parts.

Coilovers is the same thing. If you look around with enough patience you might be able to find a pretty decent set used. Add the price of a rebuild (if needed) and you are still money ahead.

Look into ADS coilovers. I think it is a great product though not probably known as other big brand names like King, Fox. They are manufactured here in AZ and a lot of people use them for desert racing and also KOH. I can hook you up with a great price. I have been very happy with them.

I've had good luck with them so far. Similar quality and performance like the other big brand names

I have a vendor local to me that can get good deals through referrals :D

Looks good! What's the story behind it? Did you have somebody building it there, or did you buy it already built?

She looks a bit tall. But don't let the low riders give you hell about it. Mine is tall too :D

I'm having a friend build it who owns a shop. I just didn't have the garage space and I didn't know how to weld. But Im taking welding classes so next time I need to do something I can do it on my own! and my friend said he will be able to lower the front enough to match the rear. He is just waiting until the bumper is complete and the winch is sitting on there also.

And I see you guys have been discussing bump stops. The SAS ran me more than I was expecting (Just like everything I do to my truck does) so Im planning to wait on adding air bumps now. The fox shocks I got have bump stops in them which obviously aren't as good as external bumps. So should the next thing I do be to add the bump stops?

I had the rubber bumpstop on my fox shocks plus a poly bump mounted next to it. When I bottomed out, it was super harsh and makes your back hurt lol.

Redid my shock mounts on the axle so the shocks won't bottom out now. Will all be on the poly bump now.

Exactly my point. I think people get way too carried away with this frame height thing. Probably a bigger problem for people with very narrow axles though.

Nothing wrong with having somebody work on your rig. It's all about achieving your goals one way or the other and having fun with it. And...it ain't that right that it always costs more than expected? lol :D

Before you go and spend money on air bumps, make sure that you actually need and want them. My coilovers, like yours, have built in bump stops in them. I think most quality coilovers do anyway. So I do not have air bumps in my truck yet and don't envision getting them for a while. Air bumps will soften things out but you don't have to have them at first. Lot of guys add them later on down the road.
