    Its a 60 and no theres no difference. I got my rear 60 for $250 already converted to discs with 4.56 gears...converting to 35 spline for strength though. Rear 60's are all over and I wouldnt pay $100 for a stocker.

    Otherwise 30 spline 60 shafts are only about as strong as Toy shafts. Upgrade and strength is plenty and clearance is more than a shaved 14bolt.

    Dana 60 rears will go for 150-250 depending on condition. I'd start the price at 300 just to see who bites.

    And my front was $600 and was super clean, out of a in-use F-350 dump truck. If its been sitting every seal and bearing will need replacing.

    My front D60 came out of a 91 F350 i just had to cut up a truck and haul off the scap. i thought it was a good price seeing how as the scrap money payed for the truck.

    When shopping around for axles, anything in particular I should be looking out for? Areas prone to stress, cracking, excessive wear, etc.

    From what I've seen on one ton builds the knuckles usually crack, but nothing a little plating cant fix. Are you going ball joint or king pin 60 front?
