    I would have argued this before i built my truck it's ok to three wheel over things just lock it up with some decent flex and go.

    Running might be a reach. Last I knew it wouldn’t start. Dude dodges any actual questions and deletes any negativity on it. Built it for the gram apparently

    Yeah he won’t take close up pics of anything people ask for. I was looking at stuff from his pics and it doesn’t seem to be to well built. I’m still waiting for him to hit some trails in it. What’s your IG?

    I agree. From what I can see, the kit looks "blocky" to me.

    Got a question for everyone.

    Would you go with an interior cage or an exo cage? Any reason one over the other? Cage will be added soon but still trying to figure out which to do. I’ve seen a lot of people that’s been running an exo cage take all that off and start on an interior cage. Any help would be great.

    I’d do a hybrid. Keep the head room but have some exterior protection

    @lund.connor

    Exos on XJ’s are pretty easy because the whole truck is a big box. I think a lot of XJ guys go internal to stifften up the body since it’s easier to tie in. I went full exo on the Tacoma for headroom. My 4xInnovations internal cage got old when I kept hitting my head on it

    @rockslayeroffroad too

    Funny! I just started the process of putting my 4xinnovations cage in the taco. I'm not going to get too far with it until my seats come in though.

    @slander has my old cage in his truck now. He cut down the seat supports for more headroom to make it work. You’ll probably be good with the extra room in a second gen cab

    Is it all the same person? I went off on rockslayer because I was asking what arms the guy had and they butted in answering everything for him. Kept trying to sell me a kit

    Except that I'm 6'2". :D

    I'm fairly certain my PRP Premiere's are going to sit lower than the factory seats though. Only time will tell.

    Just gussets... everywhere
    FWIW I've seen a rear rockslayer kit on a second gen local to me when he first got it and after install and it looked pretty solid, came with all the frame plates and all. Still not a fan of how the company does business though.

    I'm probibly going to cut it out this spring when I put new seats in the truck, I think it will cause more injuries than it would prevent. I don't know what I'll do for a cage, I'm not too fond of an exo especially after I tore a slider off the frame on a tree a few years ago, and there is zero room inside the cab for an internal cage.

    @Acerwin exo cage the xj, that way once the body tweaks and the doors no longer work, you can cut it off and swap it onto a new body easily. Plus it's soooooo easy to compleatly fuck up an xj's unibody on a simple flop if you hit the right corner.

    Still trying to let the exo grow on me. Not really a huge fan of them. Can see where it would help though.
