Everything is screwed if they salt the roads unless you continuously coat it

yeah kings are sweet but they die faster than fox in the salt so i was kinda forced to go with fox after sway away got bought out and i couldn't get parts for them.

my sway away's did great untill i bent a shaft. Put fox CO on my buddies truck last winter and they look brand new still. I have seen kings get destroyed by the salt stupid fast compared to other brands but hey thats just my experience with them.

They'll all go to shit if you don't take care of them. Other than looking dirty, my kings have never shown significant signs of corrosion due to winter and salt. Just need to rinse the truck off with fresh water once every week or two depending on where you're at and how much salt they've used.

I've had my kings for years and never had an issue. You're exactly correct, take care of them and they will last.

I discovered the Tacoma to be an excellent dual purpose rig this week... wheeler and couch tow rig!

Down in southern MO at Flat Nasty...great park. It was hot! Mid 90’s with some humidity but the river was great with water temps in the 60’s to dip your ass in at night

A friend at work just got a set of these, he had them delivered to our yard so he could use the forklift. Everything on them is massive, pics don’t convey how beefy these are.

The pumpkins on those axles are centered front and rear so the truck has to be tall for front driveshaft clearance, and the axles are geared something like 5.6/1 so tires probably 44 minimum. Most of the builds I have seen with these are subframe monster truck style suspensions. So yes bro to thee dozer.

I think the minimum rim size is like 20" for these monsters as well but if you buy the right ones they come with air lockers.

:anonymous::anonymous: i ride my truck hard and put it away wet. i don't dare wash it off in the winter cuz it gets parked out side. the coil over will freeze. ask me how i know.

ast big purchase for a while was done today. This bonus at work and what I had in from doing side work I bought the front coilovers.

14” KING 2.0s with remote Reservoir and clicker adjusters. Raised lower spring seats, and 90* fittings for the resi. 150 over 250 and had them set up for 4 to 5”s of up travel. Should be here in 4 to 6 weeks.

Also cost myself 80 bucks last night by bending a stub shaft with my 20t press. Didn’t realize the clip on the air trigger locked into place. I let go and the press kept going bending both ears. Rookie move on my end. Removed that clip from both the tube bender and the press.

Been awhile since I’ve been on TW but I have gathered some more parts to finish up the front axle and get the project on it’s own weight here soon. Got a goody from ECGS today.F3077B26-971E-4630-B62A-AD7F8E891D8A.jpg
