Feels decent at low speeds but did you take any turns at speed with it or try changing lanes quickly above 50mph? I don't know if what I'm feeling is normal or not, I'm just not used to it

Yes that's true. At that point sounds more complicated than it's worth. Before I made two separate loops I would isolate the ram and unbolt a clevis end so mechanically disconnect it. Trying to bleed air out of a two loop system would be a nightmare

Yeah I blasted down the interstate and took an interchange plus on/off ramps...felt pretty normal to me. Assist, plus bias ply iroks, plus leaf springs does not make for a particularly sharp driving experience on the highway

Very true. Probably more work and complexity than it would be worth. Guess I'll have to get used to it lol

Whats your current HA setup? (pump, reservoir, line size, cooler, etc.) I have realy good manners with HA even on highway curious to see if maybe something on your setup could be improved/rebuilt etc.

It came on the truck so not 100% sure. I know it's a tapped ifs box and a trail gear pump, single ended ram and I think an oversized reservior.
I don't know a ton about hydro stuff.. also my first truck with it so I don't know what it should or shouldn't feel like

Snap a few pics if you can. I would also look at the obvious things like cracked rubber lines, bad fittings, hose kinks, possible air pockets from poor line routing.

It’s an off the shelf TG kit. 6x1.5” ram, TG pump, and TG lines. Tapped IFS box.

Turns out my parts 80 is too nice to part out...so it looks like I’m learning how to change a 1fz front main seal, oil pump seal, VC gasket, and spark plug seals. Anybody want a green 94’ FZJ80? Body is perfect except for a hole in one rocker. Runs and drives great, just leaks oil badly from the front main. Manual cloth seats.

I’m going to keep it whole, it feels like shooting a puppy to take it off the road. Just did the front main seal, oil pump gasket, resealed ps pump, distributor o-ring, vc gasket, and spark plug tube seals. It was leaking a ton of oil and PS fluid from the pump but ran great so I just fixed all the leaks and called it good. Whoever did the valve cover gasket previously didn’t drive the tube seals into the valve cover, just pushed them onto the tubes so it was huffing oil out the plug holes and breather BAD.

I’ll find another one to pick the parts off that I want

Short shake down run with the 39s yesterday. Didnt break anything so that's a plus. Did well considering I barely aired down and no rubbing so I'm happy lol
