    Performance- bored .20 over, Doug Thorely Headers, Magnaflow Exhaust, and K&N cold air intake. Exterior- Trail Gear Solid Axle Swap, ARB compressor, high pinion 4.88 with ARB locker, 4.88 TRD Locker in the rear. Interior- 2 10inch JL W1 subs, Alpine MRX-V70 amp, Alpine type R SPR 17C 6x6 speaker in the back, Focal 165 VR with crossover tweeter up front, and Weather Tech floor mats.
    I don't have one in my truck. I've never needed anything over my stock drive train. However my buddy has a four runner with one. I'll try to get pictures of his runner. Took 4 years to build and it is the definition of amazing.

    OK so I can get both axles off an 02 f350 that one of the fleets that comes to my shop is scrapping. They want 600 for both.. disc brakes.on the rear. Anyone have any reasons I shouldn't put these under my 2nd Gen? Prolly gonna have to start with leafs in the front due to money restrictions.

    Good to know no one untill you has give a plus to rear linked on the road

    Well i might be a hater but unibearings suck ass as does that vac hub crap ford came out with.. if you can deal with that then then go for it.

    I'm not super experienced with the 2nd gen swap however if we did it over again we would run coils up front. Kind of a pain working with leafs.

    So if I plan to drive this thing on the street much, should I go for a setup like that? Any downside to running a 3-link vs a 4-link in the rear?

    What are your plans for the t-case? Don't know much about the 2nd gen t-cases at all, but it seems like that'd be your weak point... especially with the somewhat high 4.56s on 37s or maybe 40s in the future.

    Leafs are poor mans suspension.. Way cheaper and less work. And they work great if you properly set them up.

    Yes, no downsides besides less flex from the 4link, but not by much.. 4link requires you to move the gas tank as well.

    I am sure he will swap to an Fj case some day. They seem strong.. But the 2nd gen case is fucking stupid due to that gay actuator it has.. OH AND ITS ELECTRONIC :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    We are using the HD springs from TG for the heavy ass second gen and I gotta say it's a bitch trying to get them to fit.

    Oh haha well that works. I don't like how it doesn't have a drain plug on it. Didn't even notice till I was putting my gears in.

    Seems kinda common for some to not have drains when they are drop out 3rd members. There is other reasons.. It is ugly, I just don't believe TG makes a quality product such as an axle housing compared to Diamond or Ruffstuff. Their quality is outstanding.

    Those are nice axles but I would never use them for there full potential and personally the price for SAS Kit C is way more then fair for what you get.

    I don't care if trail gear gives me free parts i wont run their shit. every single TG part that was bolted onto my 94 was replaced by marlin parts due to premature failure. oh that and they copy/ steal designs from other companies.
