Imagine doing math and saving money

And then have to use math/brain anyway after spending that money when you have to modify it to fit.

Ends up being a lot easier to do all the work the right way then having to half ass everything together modifying partially fitting parts

Took me way too long and way too many failures to come to that conclusion :homer:

    This.

The packaging dictates what you can do and a link calculator will get you pretty darn close once you get under the truck and start to measure things.

That being said if someone wants to spend the extra $1200 on bling brackets and wait longer. It's their truck and wallet..

I would buy a used crawler or have my welder and brain shifted into math mode for that price.

I assume 30k for all parts associated with the link and labor, turn key crawler? Not 30k for labor....

They are probably supplying everything also

That or @slander has the right idea to pick up a used crawler. $6-10k goes a LONG ways in the used market on a complete truck

Now the one they built was with a pair of brand new RockJock 60 axles with air lockers. They are not cheap to start with.

Yup!! It was nice when jim was running inchworm, I would call him to get marlin parts that were backordered on Marlins site LOL!!

After this truck build runs through its lifecycle, I'm ditching a toyota driveline I think. The vendors are thinning out and the ones left aren't all that great. Probibly be dana axles and an atlas on the truck/buggy/whatever I build since parts and support for those are plentiful.

Saying that the tacoma isnt going anywhere for a while, I just need to build a new frame for it pretty soon.

I have been hearing more and more that people are having issues with the new doubler case setups provided by the TG empire the last few years... Has me thinking that an atlas would be a good one and done option if I ever want more T case gearing

That's what I would do, how ever you need to hack up your floor pretty good unless you want it crazy hanging down.

If we're concerned about hacking the floor after doing all that work to the suspension and drivetrain... we got a problem, lol.

so my rear is 19 spline dana 44 outers with a Toyota 8" center. If I swapped to 30 spline outers would I need to be worried about the R&P becoming the weak link?
