Most likely to one from the auto trans. The one from the manual transmission is an AWD case.

I should have left out the FJ. I was reading somewhere that some of the 4 runners have the same transfer case.

You caught me, so used to referring to it as an fi case. It was actually a t case from a wrecked 2013 4runner I think was the year. I'm running a 2 speed atlas now. If NWF has the eco box put when I did swap I most likely would have ran that route

But yeah if it's a case from an FJ is has to be out of an Automatic

I can't speak to the quality of their link brackets but their shock towers, u bolt eliminators, and gussets are beefy

My truck had a 1" body lift installed for years prior to the installation of the Atlas. The 1" body lift made a huge difference, no modifications were needed to the floor. And the Atlas does not stick below the frame rails.

Without a body lift, most people have to modify the floor quite a bit.

They do seem kind of expensive but I guess it makes up for it in time spent tuning the suspension... plus you can do a 4 wheel alignment ish now, right?

I have concerns about the strength but I'm not an engineer lol I imagine with properly torqued u bolts it's not a real issue.

yea it probably is worth it in the end :notsure:

Yea the centering pins shouldn't carry really much load at all. That's the job of the U-bolts assuming they're torqued properly

I think it is an interesting product and not that expensive in the large scheme of things if it really works as intended without issues.

One the other hand, if people want fine-tuning capabilities to locate axles, then jumping on a link suspension seems a logical step since that's one of the benefits of links.

Yea links is definitely the ideal solution, but I think this take a lot of effort out of the drilling new holes and then plug welding old ones if you're trying to fine tune the axle location in smaller increments.

Oh I thought these had been out for a while now. That's what I was initially planning on doing, but these do seem appealing for the labor savings and ability to fine tune the thrust angle.

Yeah I think they posted them on their Instagram yesterday? And yeah super neat idea for the fine adjustment. I know even with stock perches/center pins you can shift the axle around and throw the rear end ever so slightly out of line.

The video on them has been out since 2020 so that's why I figured they've been around for a minute.
