At first, it took me a while to get used to the rear stretched (though mine was a relatively small stretch). I trimmed the rear end of the wheel well a bit and it balanced things nicely visually (to me). A little bit goes long ways, but you might be pickier than I am with these things lol

Might move it forward an inch but will see. In the meantime, I tac on a brace for the front tower. The brace will serve two purpose: a support for the tower and a tube to clamp the CO reservoir. Need to check for clearance before doing a full weld but I think the tire will clear lock to lock.

Those numbers are decent. I would shorten that upper link to keep your caster more consistent throughout the range of travel though. A longer upper link has a tendency to roll the pinion up as the suspension drops out, this good for pinion angle but bad for steering geometry.

Ok. Cool. The atlas is gonna force it up anyway to clear so I’m gonna have to redo it a little. Thanks for the advice.

anyone have an issue with using a GM power steering pump?
Seems like a better option than paying ~$400 for the TG one or a noisy PSC pump.
Just need to fab a mount? Any other concerns I'm not considering? I would try to match the output of the TG pump.

The aftermarket TC style pumps are actually just a saganaw/GM pump with some upgrades internally. Folks have used them for years doing some mods. My preference is just spend the $200 on the aftermarket PSC/TG/insert brand pump and be done as opposed to like $140 on a GM pump..especially since the GM reservoir probably doesn’t hold enough fluid for hydro assist. I’m really happy with my PSC pump and it does not make any appreciable noise.

I have the PSC pump and resorvoir with hydro assist, running 40” tires.

I Really like the PSC pump. Mine has the stereotypical PSC noise but I never found it to be excessive or annoying. Just a bit lowder than other pumps.

Might have to do some digging on pirate but I want to say a 4cyl TJ or WJ jeep pump (higher flow rated for hydraulic fan) is the same mounting pattern as the TG one and more like $100 from the auto parts places

Cant believe TG is pricing those pumps at $375.
Can get a PSC with #6 pressure side an #10 or#12 feed for $200
Then grab a pulley for toyota 4rib serpentine still under TGs price. Only thing you need from TG is the bracket to mount the TC style pump to the 3.4 block.
Got a few years on my PSC setup and working great with a filter in the reservoir and inline cooler. Running the Amsoil hydraulic/trans oil 5w-30.

I have a psc pump but when I ordered years ago, they stopped making them to fit anything besides a 22re. I had to drill out the mounting hole and took a lot of work for what I paid. I’d go tg over psc for this reason

I’ve got friends that run modded Toyota pumps to varying degrees of success. They definitely have an expiration date of a few years though and get weak as the vanes wear out. My PSC pump was 15 years old when it started to loose pressure so I can live with that service life

I've been running a lightly modified Toyota 3rz pump with my psc assist for 2 years. No complaints so far. Had a trail gear pump before with my 22re and it was fine too, gave it to a buddy and he's still running it
