In mind mind those would be create similar moments (torque sorta) along the axle’s centerlines. Same twist if you will. I dunno.

This will help answer your geometry questions. The link calculator mentioned in the article will help you determine what your current antisquat/dive is.

No pretty much where I was able to get it to strike in the garage straight up and down and articulated is where it strikes. I’m almost dead center in between the u bolts and have never hit the actual u bolts (I use a u bolt eliminator (which is trash) so mine are just bolt heads but same idea )

Yea when I first saw your setup I was like that's how he's doing it, oh wait same as my setup just a shorter target for the bump to hit lol!

I have heard those eliminators suck. I have like half of one on my front axle on the diff side.

I don't even have bumps on the rear lol. But i'd assume since all of the movement is in the front, it's front suspension causing this.

Seems anti dive below 100% would be what i'm experiencing. The links look similar to the geometry i have as well.

Still a long way to go, but the front is on its own weight. 5” uptravel, 23” to the belly, 130” wheelbase. Felt really good to get a glimpse of how it’ll look.

also a big thanks to @AccuTune Offroad I don’t know how they do it with the half ass information I give them, but the front sits exactly where I wanted it. They did the same with the rear. Dead on.

Need a gut check before i order hydro assist/pump parts. This is for an fj80 axle w/hellfire knuckles/arms, tie rod on the close steering arm hole (6" stroke). This look like a good plan? If you'd do something differently, what and why?

I would buy psc reservoir over tg. It's larger, hold more fluid, and contain a filter inside. It's also made better.

When I bought mine, IIRC it was cheaper to buy everthing from psc than tg.

Thanks for the response, didn’t know about the differences in the res. I’ll price out everything but the pump from PSC for comparison.

x2 on the PSC res, worth the money, nice quality unit. Either PS pump you buy will need the engine bracket from TG with either the 2.7 or 3.4, PSC does not sell that anymore.

$844 for a power steering kit? Holy cow. IIRC, 3-4 years ago when PSC was offering the 5vz kit, they ran $350. I would assume people will fork stupid $$ (844) to save time on research. That's the price they pay for buying all from 1 vendor. That's bananas tho.

As mention, PSC reservoir is better in every way compared to TG. I personally would not buy a "kit" from TG and would rather source what I need. I'm sure PSC still sell the TC style pump or buy tg pump, buy TG mounting, buy PSC reservoir, and ebay/Amazon universal cooler. From there, you can go to your local hydraulic store and get the hose made with cramp fittings after you get your measurement, which is better than using hose clamps. If not, buy PSC reusable fittings.

Correct, I bought PSC last 5vz kit they had in 2019 according to the rep I spoke with from psc and paid $350 + $25 for shipping which includes the hi flow pump, reservoir, 4 rib pulley, and reusable fittings/adapters/hoses. I bought TG tc pump mounting hardware, but honestly, I think I could have made the factory 5vz pump mounting work with the tc pump but the tg mount was 20 buck at the time. For 20 buck, I didn't have to source a spacer but I did upgraded the grade 5 bolts/nylon locking to the grade 8 bolts/nylon lock nut for a piece of mind.

    Quick price check:
    Tc pump - psc w/ pulley 370 vs tg w/ pulley 400
    Psc reservoir - 275
Tg mounting - 69 (Rip off for a piece of metal, spacer, and some bolts/nuts IMO)
    Hayden 1405 cooler - 32
