Hey for those running super duty Dana 60, are most of you guys doing weld on high steer because it keeps the steering low? Busted knuckle and weaver sell some some nice machined knuckle/arms. Does that rent to put the steering too high?

It’s not. Helped with one and seen several in person. Not impressed for the price. But read any of my previous posts and you’ll see my points.

I think the BK machined stuff/Reid mounts really close to the same, but I’ve seen guys throw the heim up top so they can mount the ram higher. Full hydro though, don’t know it’d work for crossover steering. I used Barnes high steer with full hydro and everything cycles smoothly and doesn’t hang too low with a TMR universal mount.

Not sure, new coils came in so I’ll have the final numbers this weekend once everything is lowered where it needs to be

I did a weld on JHF kit on my old Tacoma with the 05+ d60 with 3 link. The new Tacoma has a weaver machined arm on a 99-04 d60 on leafs. The weld on worked great, but I despise heims for steering, so went with the weaver setup this time with TRE. But, you have flexibility with both kits on where you want to mount your steering on the arms height-wise. The weaver worked better for me this time too getting the steering up over the leaf spring to clear it

Nah. It’s pretty well covered and protected. Good enough for bouncers and ultra 4 peoples, good enough for me.

Lowered it down with new springs. Rear has half a tank of gas and I’ve got about 50 lbs of crap to add so it should come down without moving mounts. Frame height behind the front cab mount is 26.5” with 42’s at 9 psi. 4” uptravel in the front. Front is flexed out in the pic but the rear had a long way left to go. I’m strapped at 12” in the front because I’m paranoid right now.

Seems pretty balanced, will know more with more seat time. It’s a whole different beast than anything I’ve ever driven. I love it.

Damn is 25-26” about the average for second/third gen trucks? It looks pretty hard to keep them low. My buddy Nathan’s second gen is affectionately called the monster truck.

I'm 21 ish on leafs and wish it was taller. I have a like/hate relationship with having a low slung truck. I like the stability, but getting stuck on boulders is annoying and getting beached at the top of climbs also sucks.
