More progress. Getting close to roller status. Making the last of brackets and will cycle everything again then mount the steering box and start burning everything in. IMG_3963_Original.jpg IMG_4144_Original.jpg IMG_4120_Original.jpg IMG_4117_Original.jpg IMG_3962_Original.jpg

Hopefully the axle clears everything and that box doesn't need to go through the core support. I did the same thing on my truck and had to move it into the core support to make steering play nice but the 3rd gen frames might be a lot different

1997 t4r has super duty axles, 5.13s locked front and rear. 3 link front with 14" kings. Rear 63s.
My 4runner had to go through the core support also. I checked Martecs site on his and it’s roughly the same placement. There is a 3rd gen running 42s and it’s roughly the same spot.

The steering box on my 3rd gen 4r is where the body mount was.

What is everyone running for their driveline to Super Duty axles? I was planning on using the factory Tacoma driveline for now. I'm assuming that most people are using flanges and not going to yokes? I picked up a flange for the front but was having a little trouble finding one for the rear 10.5 Sterling. It looks like I might be able to get one from High Angle Driveline but I didn't know if anyone else made one.

Factory rear 2 piece shaft with Toyota a flange and Toyota flange front. Makes finding parts and replacements easy.

call driveline tech in hurricane Utah. He’s been the only reliable driveline shop to get me stuff fast and correct

I had super good service with Tom woods. I even ordered the wrong flange and they rebuilt it for free.

Something I always wanted to do but was on the back burner for quite sometime. Finally made it come to life. It's on my truck now doing some real world testing. This is base off a stock drop pitman arm. I'm more active on IG @buc_mac if you're looking for progress
