    Why do you prefer leafs? I've heard leafs are more "Indestructible" and reliable.

    The nice thing is, when i'm able to do the swap, i can sell my current lift as one "HELL" of a kit and give someone a great deal!

    Ah shit, he did the sas after I moved from there... But the kit itself included most everything. He already had his 35/13/15 toyo mts which he ran on his old fabtech 6". He also bought a trail-gear rear tube bumper. 4.88s f/r
    Heres a little run down on some of the goods (it may have cost more than 3500 actually)
    2100 kit from sky
    200 knuckles
    100 machine knuckles
    100 brakes
    100 ball joints
    100 hubs
    300axle
    And he made himself a custom square front d-shaft
    This is his truck.

    You could do it yourself, you just have to be careful with the backlash and preload

    I've done far to much research on this, and i know for rock crawling and hard wheeling 5:29s are preferred for more power etc, but I also "personally" know a couple guys on 37's who love the 4:88 combo. I've heard (From tacomaworld members) that 4:88s are stronger gears.


    Of course a 3k supercharger would help hahaa :p

    It really doesnt., its very straight forward.... Will this truck be your dd with the 37s? Because if thats so, then it will be a slug with 4.88s and 37s.

    If your not going big why dont you stay Toyota? I have a really nice rare FJ80 8" High Pinoin E-locker front axle for sale right now...set up for stock radius arms so it would be simple...these are massively stronger thean the Toyota PU housings/knuckles...even has abs...all for the cost of an ARB...PM me :D
