The Dana 44 should have been in place of the Dana 30/35. They are ok under jeeps but I agree that Rey should have never made the 44, ESP under a full size.

Any axle can be bulletproof if you wheel properly and with small enough tires. :D

Not really, they are slightly worn but nothing worth replacing after 2+ years. But I don't DD it

14bolt? $150 in my area of the woods. Add that shave kit in and you're talking under $400... Not very expensive :D

Does the sump face towards the front of the truck? Then yes. I do believe it does though

I think I'd pass just to avoid the scrub radius with something like that...at least its kingpin and not bj...that thing would eat ball joint daily.

Meh, dually wheels FTW, bro! :D jk But seriously, don't you think it'd be doable with wide, high off-set wheels? Wouldn't be able to get rid of scrub completely, but good enough for a streetable rig?
Crazy awesome, you mean! :D and expensive......... lol

I think the wheels would be very close to sicking out further than the edge of the tire  The scrub would not just suck on the street, but offroad too if you ever have to turn the wheels at a dead stop in the rocks. You'd eat ball joints like no other if you're not careful.

Didn't think of that. You probably cold get pretty close to a stock scrub radius, but your lockout and hub will be way out there taking a beating then.

Cool idea but I will leave the portals to volvo, lol :D

lol yeah... Almost every crawler I've seen has some scrub radius though. I think it'd be possible to get it down to a reasonable amount with those axles......... :notsure: I'd run 'em..
