Go big or go home. Leave that Dana 30 shit to the jeeps.

What "shop" is doing all the work?

    You should search for a Dana 44 out of a late 70's - 80's F-250.

Read through this whole thread I think you will find it helpful:

well the bad part is i cant really turn back now, got my quote and the shop is already prepin my stuff. its weak as in how exactly? is it just not strong enough to stand on trails or what is the reason?

really i never knew of that? i always thought all toyota transfer cases are passenger side. and is the np205 way to much for my truck? mine is only the 5 lug.

ive tried i was doin on sort of a budget, with labor and all im already paying 3500. plus im not gonna crawl, maybe some malls. lol

Well... smaller u-joints smaller axle shafts smaller ring pinion side and spider gears weaker housing

plus you only have two spiders vs 4 so you have less surface area and teeth engaged to distribute the load

    smaller ball joints smaller everything

    it's all light duty

for your plans it's probably okay but I'd brace the housing a little and maybe think about chromo shafts and CTM u-joints if you break anything down the line

also consider adding gussets to the inner C's
