I’m in the middle of putting AALs in my OME springs and I’m just destroying lug nuts trying to get the wheels off. I’m not sure if they were over tightened by the shop the last time i had them rotated or what. I run 3rd gen wheels and spidertrax spacers. I have been using these Dorman ones but these are the ones causing the trouble:

these are capped lugs and the cap will deform and spin. I’ve had to drill holes in the cap and pry it off to get to the nut. I had one that still wouldn’t come off. I used penetrating oil, heat, hammering a socket on, etc. I finally ordered this on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09JLHSD4J which got it off in about 10 seconds (I never leave Amazon reviews but I sure will for this!). Long story short, I’m looking for solid, mag seat lugs to replace the ones I currently use. Any recs?
    Some pics of the nut:

One of the reasons I'm always surprised when people toss them for some splined lugs or whatnot.

And to think I just saw someone on CL in Oregon selling these by the bucket for almost nothing a few months back...if I had known I would have bought a bucket.

There are plenty of solid aftermarket lug nuts available for a more reasonable price than OEM. You're looking for 12x1.5 thread, and I think the shorter length.

    CL for the win

    if you absolutely need NOW...understandable
but if you are persistent in searching....you might just find exactly what you need
remember, you lugs are used for multiple manufacturers/vehicles

i totally lucked out and found an add that guy was giving away 20 camry lugs for free....yeah the $15 ones.
